I thought I heard something! Hmmm what was that? My project uses the image AKV Carnival - Cotton Candy,  from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used a combination of stripes and polka dots for the papers.  The stitched ribbon is from Stampin Up.  I used two small ribbon bows with pearl centers, to embellish.  The image has had glitter and sparkled added to it, with a clearstar gelly roll pen.

I'm A Witch - So What?!

Whoo Hoo! Welcome to another Saturday challenge at Catch The Bug! As you may know, once a month, Catch The Bug has a Bingo challenge for you to play in - Well, this is Bingo week!   Everyone loves this theme, so I have a feeling you do, too!  Remember, there are fabulous digi prize packages up for grabs, so be sure to play along, for your chance to win!  Are you ready to get busy creating?! I hope so! Check out the bingo board for this challenge, as well as all the wonderful inspiration creations at Catch The Bug!

My project, today, features the image and sentiment set, Stella - Call Me Witch, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used fun Halloween papers from my stash.  Sparkle and Shine has been added to the stars and hat buckle on the image, with a clear star gelly roll pen.  I used a clear Glaze to Stella's glasses, to make the lenses have that glassy look.  The sentiment is punched with a circle punch.  The creepy ooey gooey black border was created with the Drippy Goo punch by Bugaboo Stamps. Bright green buttons, recycled from old clothing, and a polka dotted black and white ribbon, all from my stash, were used for embellishing. For my card layout, I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

It's A Vegas Birthday, Baby!

Hello everyone!

I'm back, today, with a special birthday card to show you.  And, I must admit, this is one of my most favorite cards, of any that I've made so far.  This card is for my friend who's celebrating his birthday soon and he's going to Vegas to celebrate - On the exact day of his birthday!  I always make him a card for his birthday, so this year I knew a Vegas themed birthday card would be perfect.

Doesn't this card just scream masculine?!

The papers are from my stash - I've had them for awhile, and at the time I bought them, I had no clue what I was going to do with them! LOL! The images are from the Vegas Nights set, from Daisy's Doodles. For my card layout, I used the fabulous sketch at Sketch And Stash.  I did fussy cutting around the images.  The scalloped circle and birthday sentiment were punched with punches.  The birthday sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You.

My card uses the image, Turtle Trio Birthday, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with this fun color combo of purple green and white.  For the card layout, I used the sketch at Sketch N Stash. The image is mounted with foam mounting tape, for dimension. All papers are from my stash.  Gotta love the mix of plaid, polka dots and stripes! The flower was punches with a flower punch from Martha Stewart, with a purple gem added as the flower center.  Purple gems were also used to embellish two corners.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle punches.

Happy Tuesday! Are you ready for some fabulous new images?! Well, I hope so, because its new release Tuesday, at Bugaboo Stamps!  Lots of fun digital image goodness for you! I went with a card for a teacher, today, for my project.  I've used the new release image, school bear - pencil, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  I did fussy cutting around the image and then matted it in black and did more fussy cutting.  All papers are from my stash. The border was punched using a punch by Martha Stewart.  I used this fun fun school days ribbon that I purchased from Hobby Lobby.  The glittered star is from my stash.  My card layout uses the Sketch at The Sweet Stop.

Whoo Hoo! My First Official DT Project For Squiggle Stamps!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! I'm so excited, today, because I'm showing you my first card as part of the design team for Squiggle Stamps! Whoo Hoo! Thanks you, everyone, for having me as part of your awesome team!  Oh, and if you haven't checked out thier images, you really should! They are too too cute!

Anyway, there's a new challenge, starting today, and runs for the next 3 weeks.  The theme is color block - We've provided an inspiration photo for you, and we're asking that you make a project using the colors in the pic.  A fun challenge, and plenty of time to play along, so come over to Squiggle Stamps for your chance to win!

Hello, everyone! I sure hope you are all enjoying the winding down of summer!  Can you believe the kids are back to school in many areas?!  Before you know it, Fall will be here!  Of course, I'm not quite ready for Fall, yet, though, and neither are the the folks at Shelly's Images!  We have a fun new challenge for you, this time - We have this gorgeous color combo for you to use to create your projects this week!

I went with a black and red color combo and added splashes of the citrus colors from the color theme for this week's challenge. The card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. The flowers are made from felt and are from my stash.  I used black pearls to embellish and to make the flower centers.

This is the perfect back to school card! Great for a student or teacher!

What A Big Girl! You're Going To School!

I hope you're ready for some new releases, today, and ready to do some shopping, because it's new release day at Bugaboo Stamps! If you're like me and are crazy about sock monkeys, then you're going to love this one!  (Okay, I admit it - I have one that I sleep with under my arm! For my project, of course, I've used today's new release, Sock Monkey School, from Bugaboo Stamps. I used this fun mix of school themed papers by Recollections.  The pink glitter ribbon is from my stash.  I used a white opaque pen by Inksentials, to add faux stitching to the card.  The bottom right panel is embellished with two pink pearls from my stash.  The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.  I've used a mix of flowers from my stash, that are from Prima and Meslyn Crafts. My card layout uses the sketch at Sketch Saturday.

I just love circles and polka dots so they were the perfect papers for my card.  I used two scraps of ribbon from my stash, as well as some flower shaped buttons that have bling centers.  The oval is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.  Gotta love this pink and black color combo - One of my favorites!

It's Time For Back To School

Wow, can you beleive how fast the summer is flying by?! Here we are, already, with Back To School time! I'm sure the kids out there aren't really ready for it, but I know most of the moms are! LOL

Today, we start a new challenge at Catch The Bug! The theme is a photo inspiration, and of course, what better type of photo to take inspiration from right now, than a back to school photo!  Remember, there are prizes to be won, from Bugaboo Stamps, for playing along, so be sure you head over to Catch The Bug to see the inspiration photo and link up your creation!

My card today uses the image AKV School - Kids, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used a piece of die cut paper at the top to create a border.  Oh, and you have to love this fun mix of school themed papers! I went with a clean simple card with minimal embellishments. I used a scrap of ribbon and a red button recycled from old clothing.  For my card layout, I used sketch #58 at Sketches By Carly.

Get Froggy At The Beach

Hi everyone! Here we are with Oldie but Goodie Thursday, at  Catch The Bug! Don't you love it when we take the older images from Bugaboo Stamps and bring them back into the spotlight?! I do! Today is another of those days!  Head over to Catch The Bug to see all the wonderful Oldie But Goodie creations the team has to show you, today!

My card, today, uses the image, Beach Frog - Beach Toys, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a mix of bright summery colors, for my summer themed card.  I used a fun flip flop patterned paper and some polka dots, from my stash. The pink flip flop is a button that I've used for embellishing.  I used a pink bow with pearl center, from my stash, and some pink gemstones.  What a fun girlie summery card with the pearl and all that bling! My card layout uses the sketch at A Gem Of A Challenge. My sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with a circle punch.

For my card, I've used the image, Christmas Brat Girl Dress, from Bugaboo Stamps.  I went with three patterned papers from my stash.  Gotta love red and green together, especially with stripes! The sheer green ribbon is also from my stash.  I used 3 red dew drop pearls to embellish, as well as three green ones. (I hand dyed the green ones, myself). My card layout uses the sketch at Sketch at Sketch and Stash. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Hello, Hello!  Welcome to another Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! There's a lil cutie up for grabs for you, this week.  It's Abby Umbrella! I made this cute summery card featuring our Freebie Friday, Abby Umbrella, from Bugaboo Stamps.
